The package sewage treatment plant is used to fill the gap between individual septic type systems and large municipal plants. By replacing the secondary sedimentation tank with membrane modules, the system maintains a high concentration of activated sludge (8000~10,000mg/L). This increases organic load capacity, reduces the physical footprint, and extends sludge age (SRT) to more than 30 days, resulting in lower residual sludge production.
