How the Waste Trommel Screen Works:

The core of the system is a large, rotating cylindrical drum, slightly inclined.

• As waste is fed into the elevated end, the rotation causes material to be lifted and gently tumbled.
• Smaller materials (soil, glass, organics) fall through screen holes as undersize fraction.
• Larger materials (plastics, cardboard, rocks) travel the length of the drum and discharge at the end as oversize fraction.
